History
The story here unfolds over two centuries, each chapter leaving its mark on the community. Initially, it was the Lawrenceville railroad station, connecting to the Catskill’s Mountain wilderness, with promises of a good hunt, fishing and farming. Later, it became a Kyle’s Children Camp, a “summer boot camp”, that undoubtedly shaped young lives, taught a discipline and honor, and created lasting memories. The transition to the Lawrence House Tavern marked its emergence as a true social heart of the area! Vibrant summer gatherings, softball battles, and the relaxed rhythm of everyday tavern life.
Under new stewardship, the Erin House Pub seamlessly continued this tradition, a reliable and welcoming place for locals and those passing through. Summer fun continued as Prostokvashino resort – named after a popular European cartoon. Many families made good memories during fun vacation days. And for over ¼ of the century now, Vitaliy & Violet kept improving and advancing the property. Which is currently an all-seasons B&B Lounge – known for its Best Wings in Town, house of the APA and TAP pool leagues, place to live, and place to celebrate.
